PROGRAM

We start with the tour in the village of Metajna. After the introductory instructions of the kayak guide and putting on the life jackets, we start. The kayak trip starts towards the beach Zaglava where there are large pine trees with pleasant shade. Past the beach Ručica, which is a well-known and inspiring backdrop for many film, music and fashion castings, we will travel in a south-easterly direction along the coast to Beriknica beach, where a first stop for swimming and picnic is planned. The beach is adorned by a natural formation of three large stones in the sea and the rock Stogaj, which can be seen from the coast and which is why Beriknica has become the unmistakable symbol of the island of Pag. Stogaj is an unusually shaped rock and an impressive climbing opportunity that attracts hikers from all over the world. We continue to the wonderful beach Slana, with extensive sandy beaches. The nearest beach (Malin) is a hidden pebble beach, located on the strait of Pag, near which there is a spring of clean drinking water. Along the coastline you can reach the cave Gače with a length of about one hundred meters. Passing through this cave is recommended only to good swimmers and at your own risk. You can walk through the first part of the cave and then gradually you will reach the sea and swim towards the exit. The route continues towards Veli Zaton beach with an interesting configuration and crystal clear sea, a part of the ring of the Pag bay, which consists of 27 km of beach. After a break, the route continues back to Metajna in a north-easterly direction.
