On this through we drive to the olive groves of Lun, the most exotic part of the island, untouched for centuries, with about 80 000 olive trees. Especially interesting are the 1500 wild olive trees, which are on average 1200 years old (the oldest is 2000 years old). About 7 km of gravel road extends through the olive gardens. The villages of Lun and Tovarnele are the north-western end points of the island of Pag.

On gravel roads you will pass through the foothills of the highest peak of the island of Pag (Sveti Vid). We pass through the town of Pag with the Museum of the famous Pag lace, which is part of the intangible heritage of UNESCO and the cultural heritage of Croatia.

The tour leads us on gravel roads through the Kolanjsko blato ornithological reserve. This reserve is one of the rare remaining marshy habitats of the Mediterranean and it is important for migration and wintering of marshland birds. Climbing to the peak Sveti Vid, which is the highest peak of island Pag (348 m).

The journey goes through the village of Stara Novalja and further on on gravel roads through Zaglava. Here we see the stony part of the island, which is almost without vegetation due to storm and salt. Therefore this area is often called „moon landscape“. Along the sea with a beautiful panoramic view we continue to Metajna.
